There are some occasions when we’re just spoilt for choice. Whether it’s remembering that feeling of picking out $1 worth of lollies as a kid or trying to decide which outfit to wear to a job interview, sometimes you just need some help in narrowing down your options.

It’s currently Appliances Online’s 7th birthday, and our customers might be having a hard time choosing which discounted appliances to purchase – but that’s why we’re here to help!

We sat down to have a chat with Appliances Online general manager Peter Harris, and he explained that this year’s birthday sale marks the biggest yet for the retailer.

“It’s been seven years since John Winning first established Appliances Online and the company is continuing to grow offering Australians the largest range of kitchen, laundry, and AV products,” he said.

“We’ve rolled out 24/7 Australian based customer support, expanded into the audio-visual market, and established a national distribution network of trucks and warehouses in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia.”

Peter said that there are discounts of up to 50 per cent off the recommend retail price to be made across all categories. To help narrow the list down a little, he shared his top seven picks with us!

Samsung

“Samsung have the advantage of being one of those global brands that manufactures everything from televisions and fridges to washing machines and air conditioners.

“The range of AV products on Appliances Online is extensive, but the Samsung Series 5 PS51E550 51-inch TV is one of my favourites. Not only does it feature a full HD screen and active 3D, but it’s also now priced at under $800.”

Electrolux

“Electrolux has made a name for themselves as Australia’s leading household appliances company, and their BBQs help to take the technology and style that the brand prides itself on from the kitchen to the backyard.

“The Electrolux EQBM60AS BBQ features four stainless steel burners and a cast iron flat plate, but it’s the little extras such as a temperature indicator and fold-down side table that make all the difference.”

Morphy Richards

“Despite only being in Australia since 2002, Morphy Richards has been producing stylish and contemporary household products for over 70 years.

“I’m a big fan of appliances with multiple functions, and the time-saving and space-saving Morphy Richards Soup and Baby Food Maker means that you can whip up a meal quickly and easily either for you or your little one – and maybe even keep some extra in the freezer for next time.”

Chef

“Part of the Electrolux family, Chef has earned a reputation for quality, locally-made appliances that are not only easy-to-use but also very versatile.

“The Chef freestanding upright CFG504SA gas oven has been designed and manufactured in Australia and can fit in with virtually any kitchen decor.”

Sunbeam

“Sunbeam has long been a staple of Australian homes, providing them with home-grown appliances for over 100 years.

“I enjoying making coffee at home, and the Sunbeam Cafe Latte EM5600 machine couldn’t make the job any easier, all while delivering a professional barista result.”

Bosch

“The dishwasher forms the core of the kitchen for any busy family, and Bosch has countless years of experience to back their products.

“With a four star energy rating as well as a 4.5 star water rating, the Bosch SMS50E42AU dishwasher also features half-load and express wash options – making it ideal for families of any size. Plus it’s whisper quiet to run!”

Fisher & Paykel

“Fisher & Paykel believe that your kitchen is the heart of the home and manufacturer products that are a pleasure to use – after all, you need them every day.

“The 447L Fisher & Paykel E440TRT2 fridge features a LED interior lighting, adjustable glass shelves and door alarms – little things that help to make life in a busy kitchen a little easier.”
