Expo set to showcase latest products!

One of the biggest and best exhibitions of consumer product is coming to Berlin in September. And so is that ultra-glam, slightly-weird “human spokesmascot”, Miss IFA.
It’s one fabulous week of show-boating for some of the world’s foremost manufacturers. And we can’t wait to get an insight into the latest and greatest products they’ve got to offer.
Appliances Online will have some representatives right there on the floor of the show. From there, we’ll be shooting video, sending out tweets and updating our blog with all the most exciting deets. So stay tuned!
Where appliance dreams come true
Self-titled as the “world’s leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances”, the IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung) runs from 6 to 11 September 2013.
The main trends in home appliances for 2013 sound pretty familiar – according to IFA, they are “sustainable, innovative, smart and outstanding design”. But who can knock ’em when they are so awesome? Especially when FIFA promises there will be a particular focus on products that integrate digital technology.
Think home appliances that can be synced to the home network. Download an app to your portable device – like a smartphone – to have remote control of said appliance: with info on how it’s handling, trouble-shooting tips and various other bits of helpful info.
IFA is also promising advances in efficiency and economy plus “improved hygiene and low noise emissions”. Neato!
Meanwhile, in the realm of home entertainment, anticipate broader horizons of Smart TV intelligence – with ever more advanced functionality – while IFA attendees will have the chance to witness the beauty of 4K in the flesh. And speaking of beauty:

The most bodacious booth-girl in the known cosmos, she’s a regular at each year’s event and the veritable patron saint of innovative product at IFA!

Fighting crime? Well, as Miss IFA shows, this Rowenta “Steam Force” Iron will make sure the baddies are told to “go let off some steam”. They will also be crease-free and their delicates treated with care.
Miss IFA is absolutely delighted – almost transfixed – with the innovation represented by the on-off switch on this handheld vacuum cleaner.
Miss FIFA has made the mistake of dragging this beautiful Samsung Smart Television into the middle of a field without a power supply. It doesn’t matter – the ultra sleek, thin design offers a stylish object to hide behind!
