Last weekend, the kettle blew up, the cars oil thingy lit up and my dearly loved front loader which has moved interstate three times in 5 years decided it had finally had enough. So had I – with no time and no desire to deal with any of the above so got on the internet last Tuesday night...here is my experience
Step 1: Google on Tuesday 2nd, after work
Step 2: Find appliancesonline.com.au, check out brands, features and prices (excellent!)
Step 3: Order new washing machine, delivery on Thursday please with a phone call half hour prior, take away the old one and install the new one – for $20!!!!
Step 4: Emailed receipts and acknowledgement of order (same night)
Step 5: Thursday – as promised – phone call half hour prior, old one taken to heaven, new one installed, the delivery man was friendly, thorough and efficient. I was away from work for less than an hour.
Step 6: Go home and play with new toy
Step 7:Write thank you email
What an absolute shock, pleasure and relief to deal with efficient, friendly people who deliver an excellent product, price and service on time and as advertised.

Hi, I wanted to write to thank you for the speedy service I received yesterday. I placed my order at 11am Monday, and called to check on the expected delivery time for the Wednesday. It was expected to be in the middle of the day which didn't suit as I had to be at work. Instead of waiting until my next day off (Mon), your helpful staff member arranged for my washing machine to be delivered that afternoon and within 4 hrs from placing my order I was using my newly installed washing machine! Ordered a Bosch front loader on Friday night and could have had delivery the following Monday but work commitments did not allow for this, so arranged a day off without hassles from my employer and it was delivered, installed and old machine removed 3 days later, delivery guy was excellent & courteous in every way. I did my homework & shopped around, found out which machine was value for money and you had exactly what I had found in another store and I save almost a $100 off their best price plus I would have had to pay for delivery and had to get rid of my old machine myself. I phoned to ask some questions about delivery and was pleased to get through to a person quickly and without having to make endless choices on the phone keys. All the customer service people that I spoke to were friendly and helpful. The delivery service was excellent. They managed to inform me of the time they would arrive and managed to keep close to that time. The delivery person did the job efficiently and was not fazed by sorting out a problem with the tap. I have recently purchased a fridge and a washing machine through Appliances Online.  I have found the service to be exceptional.  From the low price of the units and free delivery and removal, to the delivery guys who were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They removed the old units, were careful not to damage my walls, took away all the rubbish, swept the floor, installed the new units (even placing my dryer back on top of the new washing machine), and even waited for 15mins while I waited for my house key to turn up (long story that you don’t want to hear about). They then arrived during that delivery window, removed my old machine and installed the new one. The driver called an hour before he got here, as requested. He then installed all three appliances and removed all of the packaging from these. I called to check on the Thursday what time delivery would be and was told between midday and 2 pm but I would be called before delivery. I was a little aprehensive about buying a washing machine on line because of reports I had read that Lemair were not noted for after sales service. I was sure I had made a mistake when the machine arrived, missing the adjusting foot. It's the first time I have used Appliances Online and I was very impressed at how quick and easy it was to find exactly the product I wanted, to pay for it and to organise delivery for exactly the day that suited me the most.  That process took me 10 minutes at my computer and not a couple of hours tracking down the appliance by driving to my nearest appliance store, parking, queuing up to get help from a sales assistant and then queuing again to pay for it. On Monday evening I ordered a new front loading washing machine from your website. The process for ordering was quick & efficient, the prices and services offered, excellent.  We had been told earlier by a service technician that our current machine was not worth fixing; and had been recommended to your website by friends.  The day after placing the order I decided to have a look at the machine for myself and after removing some of the plumbing found that a hanky had clogged the drain pipe, hanky removed, the machine ran fine. At this point expecting the worst I rang your company to ask for a order cancellation, and to my surprise and pleasure, it was done quickly and my credit card payment was refunded promptly.
