After about two dozen uses this has proved to be a quiet and efficient machine. This is my first front-loader and while a load takes a lot longer the clean is undeniable, the amount of detergent required half and the items left in great condition. My only other observation is that the items washed aren't spun out quite as much as from my old top-loader so they need longer in the dryer or on the line. Recommended.

Cleans better than my old Fisher & Paykel my clothes are much whiter - a very happy customer.

The Electrolux Time Manager washing machine is great! It washes very efficiently and thoroughly and is great quality and as promised on the site. It does shake quite vigorously in the spin cycle but apparently this is a feature common to all front load washing machines. I'm very happy with it!

I'm still getting used to the frontloader after using a top loader for 30 yrs but very happy. Easy to use, just select the program to suit, it washes well and spins much dryer than the top loader.

Very happy with the new washing machine. All is going well EXCEPT that the cord connecting the washing machine to the cold water tap is too short, so it pulls away from the tap, which makes it impossible to screw it on tight, so the water leaks into the cupboard under the sink. This is not affecting the machine's performance, but creating annoying mess. I will be calling Electrolux about this when I get time, and hope they rectify it at no charge. No need to be so stingy with cord length!

I'm still working out the machine. Having used a top loader all my life, it's coming slowly. My opinion may well change to excellent in the future.

My only quibble is that it is very difficult to soak anything in it - it takes most of the wash cycle to fill up as it fills extremely slowly. If you don't get to it to pause it before it starts to drain before rinsing you lose half the water and can't soak. The time it takes to fill depends on the load so you can't just set a timer to remind you. Also, water pools in the rubber seal at the bottom.

Beeping at end of cycle is annoying, especially if at night, with drip dry selection.

It's very noisey and most washes take more than 2hrs!

I researched and know this machine has other desirable characteristics, but for these reasons I regret buying it.
