Product Question - 6.5kg Top Load Samsung Washing Machine SW65USP

We have owned 2 samsung 5.5kg washing machines (the previous model) which both rusted significantly around the lid within 2 years of purchase. Are there still rust problems with the newer style lid with the controls at the front?

A I was not aware there was a problem with rust. However I would maybe look at a different brand like LG which do similair style of washers to Samsung this time. Alternatively have you considered the benefits of a front load washer ? Less water and energy use and better on the clothes too !
