NSW Government's Washing Machine Rebate Program

As of the 15th January 2010 the NSW Washing Machine Water Rebate requirements have been updated.To be eligible for the rebate you must:

• purchase a new washing machine with at least a 5 star water efficiency rating between 15 January 2010 and 30 June 2010 inclusive
• purchase the machine for personal use
• install the machine in a residential property in NSW.

Sydney Water customers must use the official Sydney Water washing machine application form to receive a rebate. Download the form at www.sydneywater.com.au or phone Sydney Water on 132 092.

To find out which washing machines qualify for the rebate, visit www.waterrating.gov.au for an up to date list of eligible models.

There is a limit of one 5 star washing machine rebate per property. From 15 January 2010, the total amount of NSW Home Saver Rebates a household can receive must not exceed $1500 per property.
