Bit early to tell if the unit will last the distance, but performance now is good. Excellent suction, the variable suction feature is fantastic for curtains and upholstery, ergonomically comfortable to use.

My "second" cleaner works perfectly - I just love it and would highly recommend it. The power head is quite weighty so would not recommend it for someone with lifting limitations - main unit itself is very light and power is awesome.

5 star Great company to deal with - excellent prices, great communication - kept me informed the whole time as the vacuum cleaner I purchased had to be sent from Miele. Sadly, when I received my new vacuum cleaner it proved to be faulty but guys from AO were very helpful in obtaining a new cleaner to be delivered to me within a week and the faulty one taken back.

4 starWell, I did appreciate the response I got once I had a little rant. So I guess that's good. I think the biggest problem of web based business is people forget there's a living breathing person behind the screen - both from the sales end and the customer end. I just want service feels as good as dealing with a bricks and mortar store.

5 starThey called me to let me know that there is none instock in VIC and they will get one from NSW and the day it should arrive. The delivery was quick even though they had to get it from another warehouse. Love how they keep u inform, best customer service. I would definately shop with them again.

A The difference is that the S5981POWERPLUS has an LED light in the head - which helps for lighting up those dark areas. Plus it is better suited to pet hair. Please visit the Miele website for a comparison.
