Q Do you need to rinse the dishes and pots prior to putting them in this dishwasher to get a completely clean finish?

A All companies who manufacture dishwashers suggest that you give your dishes a rinse before placing them in a dishwasher to remove any caked on materials. If you put anything in a dishwasher that has overly baked on food, or burnt into the pot/pan it will not come off in the dishwasher, you will need to wash them by hand. Manufacturers also suggest using rinse aid when doing a wash to help with breaking down food and grime off the plates.
