This Dimplex reverse-cycle air-conditioner is an easy and efficient way to make a space more comfortable with some soothing warmth or refreshing cool air. Perfect for renters, its portability and ease of operation ensures that you can take the comfort it affords wherever you go.
Housed in a stylish black and white finish, it’ll be a welcome addition in many homes, suitable to cool and heat rooms up to 22m2. Moreover, Dimplex has ensured their air-cons can work effectively at temperatures up to 43 degrees Celsius – to keep you cool even in the hottest days of an Australian summer.
The unit also includes a dehumidifying function, which will be a blessing in any space that’s difficult to ventilate or prone to high-levels of moisture.
Running on a self-evaporative system, it saves you the hassle of having to use a drip tray or drain hose – excess condensation is removed by means of evaporating water collected in the tank.
If your flat or apartment is freezing in the depths of winter or sweltering in summer – this little unit could be the perfect solution … ideal conditions in moments!
Key Features
Guaranteed cooling 43 degrees Celsius
Harsh Australian summers often push the 40 degree mark or more, which is where a lot of cooling systems end up failing. All Dimplex air-cons keep you cool when you need it most, by functioning effectively at up to 43°C.
Self-evaporative
This unit is equipped with a self-evaporative system for cooling, which removes excess condensation by evaporating water collected in the tank. This ends the hassle of having to use a drip tray or drain hose.
Dehumidifying function
Not only cools your home, but reduces unwanted moisture. Humidity or water vapour in the air above 50% can cause the growth of mildew, dust mites and mould which leads to allergies and asthma.
Handy features
Includes a 24 hour timer and remote control for maximum convenience.

This is a very efficient unit. The impression from the product description, as I read it, I thought indicated no window unit. The unit is noisy in a small room(home office). No regrets, it keeps the computers cool. Thanks. GrahamConcord West, NSW
I did have a problem with water leaking from the unit, I emailed and got a call the next day and advised what to do which I did and seems to have fixed the problem. I was told if that did not fix the problem to call back and they would rectify the problem straight away with either repair or replacement, what more could I ask! Thank you!! DebraBrowns Plains, QLD
The unit is OK, a bit noisy but I already knew that and I only use it my office so no sleeping to worry about. It is supposed to cool down a 22sm room, well my office is smaller than that and it struggles to keep up when the temp outside is over 32 celcius. I also found that a lot of the problem with the cooling is that a lot of hot air was escaping from around the vent unit that the exhaust hose connects to on the unit. I have fixed about 90% of that happenning with some gaffa tape so hardly any escapes now and it goes out the exhaust hose. I wouldn't recommend this model to anyone else but as I have bought it I must live with it! You get what you pay for but I thought it would be a little better than it is! The dog likes it as it blows right on him so that is a positive, but unless you stand right in front of it, you don't feel its effect as it definately doesn't cool down the room like a split system does. We had the machine replaced last week as it seemed incredibly noisy. This new one is a bit better but still a lot louder than we expected. I actually purchased for my 18mth old granddaughters room but I think it would wake her. Efficient with the cooling process of the room. PatriciaBRIDGEMAN DOWNS, QLD
They are very helpful and efficient all the time. We have been buying our electrical goods from Applicances Online since we started a few years back. No matter where we bought the goods from Queensland to Western Australia their services have been consistent and excellent with keeping their promises in their best pricing, prompt delivery and the guys who would make sure that the applicances were installed properly (like the oven and washing machines we bought recently). This air conditioner was delivered 4 times, each time the unit was damaged. I asked them to pick it up & refund my money. They said they would turn up twice and never showed. Eventually it was beyond a joke. I had to put the unit back into my car and take it to work, where they eventually picked it up. JillPINKENBA, QLD
I have now had three dealings with AO and have found you fantastic to deal with. The delivery drivers have always been courteous, happy, friendly, efficient, I could go on and on. I wish every time I bought something I had this kind of service. Thank you and congratulations on a job well done. PatriciaBRIDGEMAN DOWNS, QLD
I think U guys have provided me with a Gr8 service.
My portable air-con arrived in good order. It's deliverd as per schedule promised. And you guys kept me informed all the time from the get go.
Very satisfied and will definitely look U up again for future buying opportunity. Thank You. HardyChippendale, NSW
Best price, excellent service, delivered on time. Local well known store could not deliver the product, their service was very poor. Extremely happy Appliances Online, this was my first experience with buying online and I would use it again and recommend this company to anyone. JohnROSEBERY, NSW
A Yes, you will need to have the exhaust hose venting out the window for it to effectively work. If you have the machine not being exhausted you will just be pumping the hot air back into the room, essentially severely effecting the units effectiveness.
Q How many BTUs? We are looking to cool a room that is approximately 60 sq meters. I believe we need around 10,000.

A 3KW is around 10,000BTU, but keep in mind that a portable air conditioner will not cool the room like a fixed air conditioner can. It would, for example, cool the room down on a hot day if it were 40 degrees to approximately 30.

"Great, polite and friendly"
Just a quick note to thank you guys for the wonderful service you have provided.
The guys who delivered my order were great, polite and friendly. This is my second experience with appliances on line and both have been positive. One of the delivery drivers remembered being at our place for previous delivery (a few years ago now) and that also impressed me.

"Excellent customer service and satisfaction"
I just wanted to say, what great service I have received from appliances online. Fantastic communication, goods were delivered extremely fast and on time and I was notified prior to their arrival with plenty of time to prepare. I have bought a portable air con unit and a stove/oven both are of top quality. I will definitely be ordering again and recommending to my friends and family. Thank you for the excellent customer service and satisfaction! Its pretty hard to find these days!

"A brilliant customer experience"
I wanted to write and provide some
feedback in regards to the service I received from Appliances online -
and in particular 2 specific individuals.Over
the heatwave of last week I was in a hurry to obtain an
air-conditioning unit for my apartment. AS a previous customer who has
had very good experiences in the past I decided to phone appliances
online for this. I spoke to Andrew Paskalis who went out of his way to
procure me an air conditioning unit immediately and also provide me with
the ‘best deal’. Unfortunately as the order was about to be placed the
supplier ran out, meaning I was not able to get the unit until 5 days
later. Andrew was extremely apologetic about this and offered to quote
me on the model instead so that I was able to purchase in store. However
within one day, he had managed to contact the supplier and track me
down a unit, and organise for it to be delivered.
