| Caramel Sauce Serves 4 Preperation Time 2 mins Cooking Time 5 mins Ingredients ¾ Cup soft brown sugar 50g Butter, diced 1 tbsp Treacle or golden syrup 1 Cup thick cream Directions Place sugar, butter and half cream in a sauce pan. Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Increase the heat and boil for 2-3 minutes, until slightly thickened. Remove from the heat stir in remaining cream. To serve, pour into a glass boat. Tips: Best served with the sticky date pudding. |
