I bought this BBM 800 from appliances online with a bit of experimenting i have the perfect Custom settings & recipe for 750gr Wholemeal Bread Setting: Custom - Wholewheat Crust Medium Loaf Size 0.75kg Preheat Temp- 20 c Preheat Time 30 min Knead 1- 10 mins Knead 2- 20 mins Rise Temp 32c Rise 1 - 45 mins Punch Down 1-120 secs Rise 2- 35 mins Punch Down 2- 0 Rise 3- 0 Bake Time 45 mins Bake Temp 150c Keep Warm 0 Recipe: Add to Bread Pan in this order. 295ml water (1 cup + 3 tbs) 1& half tbs sugar 1tsp salt 2 tsp white vinegar 2 tbs oil 450gr wholemeal plain flour* 1tsp Bread Improver 1 sachet dry yeast Put Bread Pan in & press start. When cooked let bread go completely cool before slicing. * I use Coles Supermarket Wholemeal Plain Flour Unbleached.

Simply the best bread maker out there. I bake at least twice a week, so I need something reliable. I love that one can customize the mix/knead/rise and bake cycles. After years of buying cheap thrift-store bread machines, I decided to splurge. The flip paddle is brilliant — provides the best kneading of any machine out there — though I do recommend taking it out before the final rise and bake; makes it so much easier to clean and keeps it free-moving.

We've owned our machine for 6 years now. We haven't had any issues. We've replaced the collapsible paddle once after 3 years, but we make a loaf of bread daily. We did give it a break for 6 - 12 mos. Since COVID-19, we started making our own breads again. Our go to recipes are the basic white bread, milk & honey, cinnamon rolls, and Tres Leche recipes. For Easter, we plan to make a braided bread. Other than that, the old girl has been operating perfectly since the first day we purchased her! We love our machine. We also own the juice fountain elite (5 yrs) and the newest member, the die-cast four slice smart toaster(6 mos). We love our Breville appliances!!!
