Q Would this be safe to install in a child's bedroom?

A The rounded corners and child locks on these heaters make them safe for mounting in a childs room. They do not get as hot to the touch as most other heaters - but of course, as with any heaters, caution needs to be exercised.

A The 521810 is a 1000w heater which should heat a 10m2 room.

Q Hi do these heaters have timers? Can they be hard wired in?

A The Rio does not have a timer. The Odyssey and the Artisan have timers that you can purchase (they do not come with it). The Rio has a themostat so when the room temperature drops below 5 degs the heater will start up again, this will help lower running costs. You are able to have this heater hard wired by an electrician.
