The stainless steel drum which is designed to withstand heavy use, and the high performance bearings will last for many years. Unique to Asko is the one-way tumbling action, which reduces wear and tear on the dryer's moving parts. Most other machines stop and rotate in the opposite direction, which tests have shown to be less effective. The one-way tumbling action is also kinder to your clothes.

Active Drum™ technology helps to dry your clothes quickly and gently. The unique drum construction keeps clothes in the centre of the machine, which not only reduces wear and tear, but also keeps the dryer balanced. The hourglass-shaped lifters also guide larger 'objects' such as gravel to the bigger evacuation holes in the lifter edges, which effectively remove dirt from the machine.
