Standard warranty
All our products come with a full manufacturer's warranty. Note that you'll need the tax
invoice from your purchase to make a claim.
If you lose your original tax invoice please let us know and we'll re-issue it.
Note that most small appliances have no "in-house service".
If your appliance requires servicing you will be required to take it to your nearest approved service agent.
These agents can be located by contacting your manufacturer directly.
Commercial Customer Care Plan
If you're buying something that will be used in a commercial environment, the manufacturer's
warranty covers a maximum of the first 3 months only.
Note that all Electrolux, Westinghouse and Dishlex dishwashers come with no commercial warranty.
Extended Customer Care Plan and Business Customer Care Plan
Appliances Online offers an extended Customer Care Plan that covers parts and labour required
for repair of goods that suffer mechanical or electrical failure within Australia,
for a period of up to 3 years outside the term of the standard manufacturer's warranty.
(Subject to some
brief terms and conditions
).
The extended Customer Care Plan is offered by Wesfarmers General Insurance Limited trading
as Lumley Insurance ABN 24 000 036 279.
Appliances Online will donate $5 to the Children's Hospital Foundations Australia for every Extended Warranty purchase made when you buy a Washer, Dryer or Ironing Centre.
Payment
You can pay using...
You can pay with PayPal, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. By arrangement, you can also use bank transfer (EFT).
Alternatively, you can pay on delivery (COD) with cash, bank cheque or credit card.
Only Appliances Online staff and drivers are authorised to take receipt of money.
No transaction fees
Importantly, no matter which payment method you use, you won't pay any transaction
fees. We absorb them all.
Return policy
If your goods are deemed faulty following confirmation by the manufacturer you may replace them free of charge by calling 1300 000 500.
If you notice any damage to your goods please notify our delivery team at the time of delivery. We recommend you thoroughly inspect your goods at this time. If you notice any damage to your goods within 24 hours of receiving delivery please notify Appliances Online immediately. Evidence of damage will be required i.e. photographs.
If for any other reason you need to return an item please call the Appliances Online customer help line on 1300 000 500 within 5 business days of receiving delivery.
If your goods remain boxed and unopen you may return them within 30 days for a full refund. A collection fee of $50 or the amount of your delivery fee if it was greater than $50 will apply.
If your goods have been unboxed but otherwise are as new (have not been used or connected) a 20% restocking fee (20% of your purchase price) will apply. Appliances Online does not deal with factory seconds, damaged or open goods and charges restocking fees to cover return costs. A collection fee of $50 or the amount of your delivery fee if it was greater than $50 will apply.
Please note, if you have requested connection of your goods Appliances Online will unbox the product for you at the time of delivery. Also, we recommend you inspect your new goods thoroughly at the time of delivery.
We will organise for your return goods to be collected. Goods are usually collected within 3 days.
You as the customer have a duty of care for the product whilst it is in your possession. If products are damaged by you and subsequently returned, a charge will be made to repair the product to its original condition. Please be aware that where repair is not economically viable no refund will be made.
All refunds will be issued when goods have arrived back to an Appliances Online warehouse and have been inspected by a member of our team. Refunds will be made by the same method used for the purchase.
We are unable to accept return of any goods that you have attempted to install or have used.

Very good quality dryer which works very well. The product description should include the fact that a venting hose and connector are included. Instead there is a link to a venting kit for $69 which we purchased but, it turned out, did not need. Maree

An excellent machine. Comes with a 2m flexible exhaust hose. The F&P stacking kit fitted my Whirlpool washing machine exactly. (I checked the F&P dryer width and depth before I ordered it). The dryer is quiet and very efficient. Charles

A few months after purchase the fan belt broke. A serviceman arrived two days after the call to repair but did not bring a fan belt to fit the model of dryer. It then took more than 2 weeks before the serviceman returned with the belt. I am not very impressed with 1) the fact that the dryer broke down so soon after purchase, and 2) the poor quality of the aftersales service. My future purchases will exclude consideration of Fisher & Paykel products as a result of this experience. Amanda

A great way to get a competitive price for a quality product. The only problem was that we unnecessarily purchased a universal vent kit which we did not need because the product already contained all the vent parts required but this was not clear in the description.

A Unfortunately 6kg Fisher & Paykel Dryer DE60F60EW1 is not wall mountable. The Electrolux EDV605 is a wall mountable model and is currently is stock for delivery.
A If you are either a licensed repairer or electrician I believe the repair can be done by yourself. The reason a licensed person is required for service is for insurance reasons, if your unlicensed repair burnt your house down I believe insurance may not cover.
Fisher Paykel do sell spare parts direct and have a excellent customer care centre to confirm the above on 1300650590.
A It needs to be a minimum of 30mm from the wall. Here's more detailed infor from the manual:
The proper location
- Install your machine in environments which have no risk of freezing and in a stable and level position.
- Do not install the machine behind lockable door, a sliding door, or a door that is hinged on the opposite side to that of the dryer, in such a way that the door of the machine cannot be opened fully.
- Do not place your machine on a carpet covered floor, a long pile rug or on similar surfaces.
- Operate your machine in a well ventilated, dust-free environment.
- Make sure that your machine is not placed on the power cable. Place it at least 30 mm away from the edges of other furniture and walls. Place the machine on a sound floor.
- A special part (Part No. 791746) must be used if the machine is to be installed under a counter or in a cupboard. This replaces the top trim and must be installed by a Fisher & Paykel Authorised Repairer. Never operate the machine without the top trim.
- If the machine is to be placed on top of a washing machine, the approximate weight together may reach 180 kg when they are full.A stacking kit should be used between the products, fitted to the washing machine. Stacking Kit White Part No. 790691

"Old fashioned service"
I would like to compliment your company once again on its service. I sent
the email below and the next morning one of your gentlemen from Sydney
telephoned to arrange for another dryer to be delivered today and the original
machine to be sent back to the manufacturers as it was possibly faulty. True to form, the driver phoned early this morning and arrived on time
at 10am. As the driver wanted the box to cart the original machine, he quickly
unpacked the dryer and put original one in the box. My husband has had a stroke
and is not able to do these things, so I was extremely grateful that it was done
without being asked. Old fashioned service again. The drivers were very
pleasant young Indian men who were certainly good ambassadors for Appliance on
Line. It makes such a change nowadays to get a job done properly and for
