I have an old apartment and the kitchen is in good condition. The benchtops and cupboards are too narrow for an upright standing dishwasher, I would have to put in new cupboards. My only alternative was for the benchtop dishwasher. There is only two of us. While I would prefer a larger dishwasher, this is a compromise that works well for us. The dishwasher is reasonably quiet. It uses very little water and to my surprise it washes very well. The normal wash program is rather long. As a consequence I wash everything on the quick wash. If you rinse your crockery and scrub off food matter before you put it in the dishwasher the quick wash is perfectly adequate. If you have a large wash it takes some ingenuity to stack the dishwasher but after a few times you quickly learn. We are a retired couple home every day. I find I wash twice a day. Because I wanted to save space on my benchtop, I mounted the dishwasher on a mobile microwave cupboard. When I want to use it I simply wheel the cupboard and the dishwasher over to the sink. We bought a screw on tap adapter from our local Bunnings store to enable us to attach the hose to the tap. I am very happy with the product. Helena

This dishwasher is GREAT for a small kitchen and household like ours. We use it every day and it's saved so much time and hassle, I no longer slave over the sink! Beware- it only fits smaller sized dinner plates though- ours were slightly too big. Overall, one of the best purchases I've ever made! carly

The only problem with the unit was that the
front door developed a crack at the bottom left corner but a
door skin was quickly sent out to me and so far nothing

Great product! Fantastic for its size and works just as well as normal sized dishwasher. Only downside is the lack of size compared to normal sized dishwashers but that was to be expected as it is only a benchtop dishwasher. Overall i love it. Josh

I was pleasantly surprised to have received such A1 treatment from Appliances Online. As true as their word they arrived as promptly as they predicted. I have never experienced this sort of treatment before. The appliance which I bought is excellent. I was dismayed to find that it was not an especially good saver of electricity or water but I use the appliance judiciously which dismisses
any concern I might have had. It does a stunning job of cleaning my dishes and cutlery, to the point where they simply sparkle, so that I am more than satisfied with my purchase. I recommend the Amalfi brand without question They have been true to their word with their advertising. A Out of the box these models are designed to screw on to a standard Australian sink tap. In some cases they do not fit, we have adaptors which cover most situations available free of charge if this turns out to be the case we can mail one out to you.
Stock standard you do need to remove the hose to use the tap as normal however some customers have purchased different adaptors from hardware stores which allow for dual functionality (tap & dishwasher) these parts are less than $20.
A A standard dishwasher hose length is 1.5m, the Amalfi has a length of approximatley 1.2m. You can purchase a hose to extend the length from most hardware stores.
A This item is classed as a small applaince and does not show the water label. Energy rating is 1 Star 308 kw per year. This model uses 9.8 litres for a normal wash cycle.
A These dishwashers can be installed by the customer. You will not need a plumber if you are connecting to your kitchen tap as the fittings to do so come with the appliance.
If you are going to plumb this direct to your water supply you will require a plumber.
